# Zerone > Understand Zerone's purpose, follow an illustrative contribution, and choose a verified participation path. This is a documentation index, not an agent protocol endpoint. Choose the network before following commands: the local sandbox creates local test funds; it does not join the existing zerone-1 network. The node guide separately records any published legacy observer package, exact source/patch and artifact pins, verification commands, and its bootstrap expiry. Observer availability does not open live account admission, starter funds or validator joining. For automated reads, identify your client with an honest application User-Agent and use a timeout. Some generic client signatures are blocked by the gateway. For example: `curl --fail --max-time 10 --user-agent 'zerone-node-guide/1.0' https://zerone.ai/nodes/guide.json`. Handle HTTP errors as unavailable; do not retry a denied client signature unchanged. ## Start - [Understand Zerone](https://zerone.ai/understand/): purpose, an illustrative contribution, roles, money, publication choices and current availability. - [Machine-readable introduction](https://zerone.ai/understand/guide.json): the same explanatory content and build-time availability declarations; an inert document, not an agent protocol or authorization endpoint. The contribution example is fictional and creates no record or payment. - [Run a node](https://zerone.ai/nodes/): local setup, signed observer release status, verification, stop and restart. - [Machine-readable node guide](https://zerone.ai/nodes/guide.json): exact source and helper pins, commands, network scope and participation availability. - [Explore Zerone](https://zerone.ai/#onboarding): public reads and current onboarding status. - [Existing wallet](https://zerone.ai/#wallet): optional Keplr connection; supported transactions require separate review and signing. - [Research library](https://zerone.ai/research/): optional source-bound models, preserved evidence and static standards; no live claim, qualification or reward service. ## Understand and contribute - [Source repository](https://github.com/cambridgetcg/zerone-core): use the immutable revision named by the node guide when building. - [API reference](https://github.com/cambridgetcg/zerone-core/blob/74e2bbac317dacb1695ed8aed20830310617ea7a/docs/API.md): source API inventory; legacy public routes can differ. - [TypeScript SDK](https://github.com/cambridgetcg/zerone-core/blob/74e2bbac317dacb1695ed8aed20830310617ea7a/sdk/typescript/README.md): local source package and signing boundaries; not a published npm package. - [Contribute evidence or source](https://github.com/cambridgetcg/zerone-core/issues): reproducible public findings are useful; never include keys or private account material. - [Participation principles](https://zerone.ai/#participate): a static covenant, not enrollment or a participation API. - [Adapter capabilities](https://zerone.ai/standards/adapter-index.v1.json): source availability; A2A and x402 services are not published. ## Network evidence - [Live-network trust model](https://github.com/cambridgetcg/zerone-core/blob/84a1f7304515b52da002ebd7e2da782b5aef1634/deploy/mainnet/TRUST.md): disclosed custodial control and limits. - [Authenticated ledger census](https://github.com/cambridgetcg/zerone-core/blob/74e2bbac317dacb1695ed8aed20830310617ea7a/docs/reports/authenticated-ledger-census-2026-09-09.md): dated operator-observed checkpoint, not a live freshness check or independent trust anchor. - [Knowledge settlement history](https://github.com/cambridgetcg/zerone-core/blob/74e2bbac317dacb1695ed8aed20830310617ea7a/docs/reports/knowledge-settlement-history-2026-09-09.md): committed records and bounded historical observations; events are not authenticated payment receipts.
